Temple of Dailuk Progress Thread
I believe this is one of those chunks that was teens level but then SOE decided to make it a level 20's area (Like Lomshir). I'm going to leave the levels alone this time around, because VG was lacking in Mid 20's content. If it doesn't work out, then we can change it later.
For now I'm just going to set up quests and quest related NPCs/mobs/items. For this pass, I'm not going to worry about Pre-req quests, rewards, etc. I'm just going to set them up in the order they are listed in our database.
Quests:
Building a Dragonweir Beacon - The turn in and completion text are missing. Without the context of the whole storyline I can't fill that in yet. I'll have to come back to it. The item and the chests were also missing. So I recreated those as best I could. Quest text also mentioned a key. I could not find a key that was part of this quest so I have created one. I'm not sure how live had you acquire the key so I've set it to drop off any Aoekor in the area (Except that named guy that I think is a quest mob). Other notes: I just found out that this takes place in HATHOR ZHI. Let me gripe about Sigil/SOE. Why on earth do you have players running into TOD then back into HZ for this quest? Ugn. Well I need to undo everything I've set up in TOD and set this up in HZ instead.
Haekemish Raid - Complete. Just about everything for this quest was missing, but I was able to find it in the archives. So it's been set up.
Bandit Bait - Complete. I can't say that I'm 100% confident how this is set up, since this is a location-triggered mob spawn kind of event and you need 6 of them. My concern is not getting all of them. And then to top it off, you have to kill and loot the boss because the item he drops starts another quest. So I have this feeling that players will find a way to bug this out, especially if they don't read the quest text, which they are famous for not doing.
Bhidrashi's Symbol - Complete. This is from the drop from the aformentioned boss mob.
Undead Investigation - Complete. I wasn't sure if the drops should fall off the horses too but the quest doesn't say, and they are undead. Also two of the rewards for this have exactly the same stats.
Final Rest - Complete.
Special Delivery - We have no quest information on this one other than the vague summary of "Bahdor Adesh has asked you to deliver a package to his brother Hasar Adesh at the docks across the river. The location has been marked in your journal." Since this quest is still listed as level 10 and we have nothing but the summary, I have this feeling that SOE removed this quest entirely when they changed the levels of this chunk. If anyone happens to find the information on this one, please let me know. BUT NOTE: This is NOT the courier horse quest. I looked it up and it does list this NPC's name, but based on the summary it is NOT the same.
Abduction - I don't know exactly how this was set up in Live, but I've tried to do as close to the description as I could based on reports from the wikis.
Revenge - Complete.
Lizardman Attack - Complete. This one is pretty complex, as it has waves of mobs. Right now they're timed at 60 seconds. I'm not sure if that's a good amount of time. It was enough for me to solo on a level 55 rogue, so I suspect a group shouldn't have a problem. But I figure when we get more tools from the devs, we can refine this one more. The reward is crap, too. I suspect there are some missing rewards there, but I have no proof. The rewards used to be a mask which don't seem to exist anymore. In the future the rewards should at least offer one of each archetype.
Crocodile Spy Hunter - Complete. I have not yet set up the dialogue on the NPC, as you have to go through that before she'll offer the quest. But the quest is set up in full.
Destroy the Fiend Altars - Complete. You need three of these, and there's only three in game. Kinda think we should add more for groups working on this or at least make the despawn/respawn rate faster. Either way, leaving it for now.
Odd Request - This quest wants you to kill dustwalkers and get a drop from them. Turns out there were none on the west side of the river, and all of them were still the original teens level. I made a copy of them, set to levels 24-26 and put them around the outpost.
Fixing Agent - Complete.
Strangers at the Door - Complete
Unassigned Duty - Complete
Death to the Betrayers - Complete
Dark Weapons - Complete
Cleansing the Wretched - Complete
Vital Supplies - Complete. We have NO quest text for this quest at all. So if anyone happens to find it on an archive/info/wiki site, please let me know. I was able to find the quest objective on Telonica, and that's all. I also added a POI to the turn-in NPC and set up the quest for turn in on her script.This quest was also still listed as a level 13 quest with 3328XP. I have changed it to a level 24 quest that offers 17280XP.

I didn't get much done today so far, but I did find that we were missing the loot that was on Dailuk (himself). So I created those items and put them on his loot table.

Quest Steps
Step 1 - Get Quest
Pick up the quest from Azara Shahab at The Beacon of Azara.
Step 2 - Collect the parts
Inside Dailuk there are humans, wolves, and gargoyles. Any human mob has a small chance to drop the Covenant Writ. Any gargoyle has a small chance to drop the Stone-Like Fiend Wing. Any wolf has a small chance to drop the Tuft of Flarehound Fur.
After you've collected any part, the game will still let you loot duplicates of that item while you're on the quest. Pay close attention to what you're looting, so that the other people in your group can also loot their parts. When one of the items drops, it can only be looted by one person in your party. It will not drop for everyone at the same time.
While only one person in the group needs to actually do the quest in order to summon the mobs, all group members will need to do this first part of the quest if they wish to get the follow up quests.
Step 3 - Turn In Quest
Go back to The Beacon of Azara, and turn in the quest to Azara Shahab.
