Ksaravi Gulch Progress
I know, I'm bouncing around again. I do this because: #1. I really enjoy setting up quests but not so much the other stuff. #2. People keep asking for an alternative flying mount to the pegasus. So I'm setting up Black Wyvern Down here in the Gulch. When I'm done, I'll make the wyvern mount available.
Not doing Cleanup or Prereqs on this pass.

Ksaravi Kidnappers: Done. One of the medium armor rewards is missing stats.

Tonight's work:
Thestran Pirates: Done.
Angoer Bunker: Done. This one actually takes you out of chunk. I set up the NPC in that chunk, but that's all it is.
Turning Kidnappers into Hostages: Done but needs refinement. The quest currently works, you can totally do it. But it needs some checks here and there. I'll have to take care of that later, perhaps tomorrow. Use this for quest info: http://thetelonproject.wikidot.com/adve ... o-hostages

Sweet I love me some Wyvern. As I recall that mount only works in that chunk right? I'll check out this area next time I'm streaming.

It did in live and it probably will when we go live. But for the duration of testing, I'm going to give it as an alternative to the pegasus flying mount that I put on IOD.

Turning Kidnappers into Hostages - Put in some additional checks on this so that it's less confusing. It should work as it's supposed to now. It's still kinda confusing, I don't think this is a particularly well written quest.

Turning Kidnappers into Hostages - Tried to make this a little easier. If you run all the way back to base, if you use the items before it despawns, then you can complete it. Otherwise if you let it despawn, then it will uncheck the hostage objective, and it will tell you to try again. I still feel like this quest is unnecessarily confusing. I might make it so you can hail the Ksavari Hostage later and get the needed information for the third and fourth objectives.
A Suspicious Scroll - Now drops from most of the ksaravi at the entrance to the gulch. So you should get this quest while doing "Turning Kidnappers into Hostages". The mask reward was missing its stats, but thankfully The Telon Project wiki had a copy of it, so I was able to restore the stats on it.

Today's work: I realized today that I had some exploity stuff up on some quests I've done elsewhere. I had to fix those earlier. It wasn't really a big huge deal, but needed to be done. Nothing that would make anything easier for Players, let's put it that way.
Archaeology Today - Finally completed this one now that we can set up areas of activation.
Archaeology Yesterday - Done. (This makes you go to Khal)
Archaeology Tomorrow - Done. This sends you back to Ksaravi Gulch.
Infiltrating the Rats - Still being worked on as this one is really complex. I also don't like this bullshit of each player having to do the thing individually, yet there are 4 dots all around generally requiring a group to clear. Infiltrating the Rats - Complete. Seems to work okay. I imagine players might find exploits with it, which I'll fix if anything is reported. Didn't test in a group tho.
A Measure of Trust - Complete. I think this is part of the Drunken Monk line, so it's currently not available. When we're ready to add in the Monk Subclass stuff, we'll get back to this.
Cowardly Couriers - Complete
Modes of Transportation - Complete. The wyvern you get for this, currently, is set so that you can only mount it in Ksaravi Gulch. However, if you're already on it and you go to another chunk, it doesn't have any checks. I don't think there's a way for us to check without doing some serious kludge work which I'd rather avoid. So for now, don't bug report it. It's a known issue. If you fly out of chunk or whatever, it will still let you use it like any other mount. If you try to mount out of chunk, it won't let you. Also on my tests, the POIs weren't flipping to the next checkpoint like they should. I might be having a caching issue though. I didn't want to log out and test. I'll try it later.
Just relogged and it appears that since the POIs are on the quest as clickable locations, it's not proceeding through them. I'd rather players be able to click and move to the next one, unlike the "Scout the Isle" quest on IOD. So, I'm not considering this an issue.
Black Wyvern Down (Part 1) - Complete - I'd really like to put some animations on these dudes to make them look injured. But I'm skipping it for now for the sake of getting the core functionality done.
Black Wyvern Down (Part 2) - Complete. I have not scripted the Censer yet, and don't intend to for the time being. So just go back to the questgiver for now.
