I haven't found anything on the topic here in the Wish List forum, but how about returning the race kill on sight statuses?
Been collecting all my old favorites and database websites regarding Vanguard and came across my old guild website, which reminded me on the topic:

It could prove an interesting event/quest material further on as well.

There's been a few discussions on this and if I recall the plan is to bring back the old factions from before the City Faction coin system was put into place.

Does this mean the City Faction coin system will not exist? That sure eliminates a LOT of mount options if true...and not sure the "old" system is worth having if it means taking away that much just for the sake of being KOS by default. At minimum it strips away the Pegasus mount, the only flying mount that does not require a raid to get, at worst it gets rid of a pretty huge variety of mounts one can earn.
Some clarification would be helpful.
Does this mean the City Faction coin system will not exist? That sure eliminates a LOT of mount options if true...and not sure the "old" system is worth having if it means taking away that much just for the sake of being KOS by default. A lot of that stuff could be repurposed into other content. I don't agree with taking away art assets, that's for sure. Especially when it seems so difficult for us to add more in ourselves. Use whatever we can, right?

I don't think it would require a change to the coin faction. But if you wanted to carry the banner of a town you're KOS to, you probably have to get non-KOS first.

Well I think all the mounts can still be in-game. Just will need some custom made quests, grinds, raids, etc. I personally would love to see the KoS system back in the game. If nothing else, it does offer some nice story basis for custom quest lines, custom diplomacy content and what not. Imagine a full out war between two races, which hate eachother (diplo parley to debuff the other faction, buff yours and whatever else the imagination can think about).
