Towards the end diplomacy came to become inflated with powerful cards from monsters and bags, but none were quite as egregious as the Signature cards. It was sad to see them completely trivialize parleys by rendering NPC opponents unable to even use the expression system. Just alternate Deadly Covenant and Karma Burn with expression-free comments, rebuts, and one assertion to cash in on your starting expression and all they could do was pass turns while you were capped at 10 influence.
