Quest Shutdowns
Just to let you guys know, we're getting an increasing number of bug reports in Southwatch, Forest's Heart, Silverlake and Ocean's Watch. The designers that worked on these chunks left the team some time ago and their scripts are out of date. Since our design team is so small, I don't see us fixing them for a while. So I've disabled most of the quests in these chunks for the time being. We're aware they don't quite work right. I will fix it when I have the time.
We knew from day one that as we script stuff, that we'd constantly have to return to old content and update and polish as we go along. (I've gone over Dahknarg at least 5 times) Unfortunately with such a small team as we have, we can't update it in time and players are constantly running into problems. We don't want VGO to carry the same buggy reputation as the original VG. So that's why I'm shutting down the quests in these chunks until we can get to them.
If more quests come up on the radar, I'll remove those as well. This is not to discourage you from testing, we still need you to test stuff. It's just that stuff we know currently doesn't work and can't get to right away needs to be shelved for the time being.
