Today's work:

Burying Brownies Part 1: Complete. Required nothing.
Burying Brownies Part 2: Complete. Added in the class specific rewards.
RedCap Origins: Complete
RedCap Origins Part 2: Complete
Open Source Cave: Complete
Open Source Cave Part 2: Complete

I had to go over the above several times just to make sure the candle talking worked like it should. I think I finally got it working as intended now.

Scout Recovery: Complete.
Cartheon Initiative: Complete. Redid the scripts a little to add some flavor to opening the chests. Added class rewards and made them all class specific.
Death of the Necromancer: Complete. Redid the scroll's script to work a little better, to put an animation on Shargon to show he was affected. Now gives feedback if you have no target or the wrong target. Added class rewards and made them all class specific.

I was working a little in Tursh today. Didn't get to do too terribly much. Found some problems with some spawns that will have to be corrected later (Nothing that really impacts players much, just some errors on the part of former designers).

Quests:
Spirits' Reprieve: Complete. Kinda. I didn't even know this one existed, but I found it while looking through the database to make sure I got everything. This one is set up, it does work, you can turn in. But you need 15 things from only like 5 available mobs. As you can imagine, this is a pain in the ass. I will be adding more mobs to this quest when I can, but I have to figure out where I can reasonably put them.

I started working on Rindol Field as well. I didn't record what I did, there's *A LOT* of fixes needed and I did some that were critical. I'm going to start over from scratch and the very beginning and record my progress on that later.

In other news, I think Tursh, as in the human starter area is done as far as adventuring quests goes. Still needs cleanup. I'm not entirely sure the prereqs are in the right order. I've not gotten a chance to test it from start to finish. But I think players can test it now. Let me know if you find anything wrong. I primarily tested it on my rogue and somewhat on a non-GM monk (But haven't finished it). Please note that mobs can aggro you through walls, doors, other objects and even come up from the floor or through the ceiling. This is not something I can do anything about. When you're testing, please test to make sure the quests can be read, understood, the objectives are showing, and when you do the objective you get credit.

It's that time again. Time to do Tursh again. Starting with the human starter area first. Tursh definitely needs the whole thing redone, not just the quests, but all the NPC scripts too. These were some of the very first that we started working on. And we've had almost 6 content designers working on it at some point or another, so a lot of them are not consistent. I will be working on this issue as well.

Quests:
7/31/19
-Restless Farmers - Complete. No changes made.
-Hugh's Missing Ring - Complete with new loot code. Updated code on the risen farmers.
-Nobody Expects the Arcane Inquisition - Complete. No changes made.
-Light Fighter Training - Complete. No changes made. (Can't really test the other training quests, will have to rely on bug reports for those).
-Back to the Head Inquisitor Light Fighter Version - Complete. No changes made. (Can't really test the other return quests, will have to rely on bug reports for those).
-Introduction to Harvesting - Complete. No changes made.
8/1/19
-Speak With Inquisitor Westlen - Complete. No changes made.
-Zelser's Journal - Complete. Updated with new loot code. Updated script on "Untamed Tome" for the drops.

-The Origin of Imps - Complete. Updated with new loot code. Did not touch NPC script, it was already up to date.
-Rift Gem - Complete. Removed "RemoveItem" scripting from abandon function as you need that item to get the quest. Set quest to close upon accept.

-Dire Tidings - Complete. No Changes. Though the reward should be made into something that is Tursh specific and not the IOD's "Sun Charm".

He tells you to "take these as a reward" but he only offers a choice of two potions if you are not a wand-capable class (As he offered a healing or caster wand, but nothing for the other classes).

-Further Training - Complete. No changes made. (Only tested light fighter)
-Back To Velman - Complete. No changes made. (Only tested light fighter)

I feel like we need to show the bad guy here turning a brownie into a redcap, because otherwise the player really has no idea what they did, what they're supposed to find out, etc.

Garret Belant's Abomination exists once more.
I'm going to change all the previous instructors to true class trainers. This will muck up any existing "Go to your trainer" quests which SOE turned from class trainers to archetype trainers. Right now they point to the archetype. For example the Light Fighter one will send you to the Ranger Trainer when I'm done restoring them, no matter which class you play. Eventually I will make the class quests, but I need to set up the NPCs first and I don't see that happening in one sitting.

Baroo - I added in a check for if you're a brownie and if you need the brownie illusion again. You can click a dialog option on hail asking him for help becoming a brownie decoy again, and then he will offer you Brownie's Magic repeatable. So it no longer offers you "You say you want a revolution" and "Brownie's Magic (Repeatable)" at the same time unless you need the illusion again.

Research Recovery (quest_id: 3191 ) - For some reason this was listed as Caretaker Hugh's quest. I'm pretty sure he has nothing to do with it so for now I have commented out that quest on him until I can investigate what's going on.

For the record: I'm going to change all the previous instructors to true class trainers in the Western Watch Barracks. This will muck up any existing "Go to your trainer" quests which SOE turned from class trainers to archetype trainers. Right now they point to the archetype. For example the Light Fighter one will send you to the Ranger Trainer when I'm done restoring them, no matter which class you play. Eventually I will make the class quests, but I need to set up the NPCs first and I don't see that happening in one sitting.

Okay back to Tursh. I'm going to continue updating the main post there with all the info. But I've set up all the archetype trainers to class trainers in the Western Watch Barracks. I've also added a Shaman trainer as well.

Ulya Bluehart - redid from scratch
Fest Ozzil - redid from scratch. This guy has a lot of dialogue pertaining to a game that was on him or was supposed to be on him. As I recall, VG never actually added the minigame. So I'm not going to bother setting it up, since there's nothing you can do with it. Perhaps if we ever have the means to do something with it, we can.
Kracket Henley - No Changes needed.
Eben Redstalk - No Changes needed.
Lurra Galthan - This lady appears to be racist. I redid her script from scratch but I also have a check where if you're one of the races she insults, when she insults them, it will give you an "Ahem..." dialogue option where she backtracks.
Jimblie Meadowlark - Redid from scratch. Added Hubert's informant script but didn't test.
Emili Ishwall - redid from scratch

Cort Owens - Redid script from scratch. Added random movement. Added additional dialogue option about looking for more work than what's available in Tursh. This might be Crafting-level locked since you don't get anything after level 25 in cities. But for now, anyone that has a crafting class will get that dialogue option on hail.
Drogan Frozensword - Redid from scratch. Added random movement.

Note to self: Tursh Village outpost boundaries need to be extended, the rear of the Barley Harvest Inn is not within the current city limits.

Lurking Redcap - So this guy didn't have a true hail, which I believe was set up on purpose because there was no way to set up a parley to not show up on him (And it's only supposed to show up if you're the same race as him.) I've gone ahead and set it up with the full hail and I hope we have the ability to hide the parley with a race check instead of hiding the hail for it. I also believe it shouldn't spawn unless you're on the quest and you're a redcap at the time.

This should be everything in the main town area

I had a hard time getting on today so I didn't get much done. I did rework one of the diplo quests "What's Going on in the Mill". I changed the **CHARACTERNAME** references to the proper NPC. One of the parley lines drops the name of the questgiver and I don't think that's right. But I don't have enough knowledge of this questline to know who it's referencing (PRobably someone in the later quests that is involved).

I have set the Lurking Redcaps to spawn when you go to the second floor of the Inn, and if you're a redcap at the time. Entering the rooms will also check to make sure they're up if you need them. They despawn after about 11 minutes.

Lund Kanalt - Left alone for now as it doesn't technically need to be redone, but there's a lot of stuff on this script for other NPCs. Leaving it incase we need that data later.
Reyonie Turnbull - Redid from scratch. Note, this is the harvesting trainer. Hopefully I've set that stuff up correctly.
Lucara Tandir - Redid from scratch.
Rella Torane - She was previously updated when I added in the Thestran Style quest.
Teln Oshken - He was previously updated when I added in the Thestran Style quest.
Callen Brandywell - He was previously updated when I added in the Thestran Style quest.
Mitchal Kunder - Redid from scratch. Okay this guy is a pather apparently, he's in two places at once in the barn behind the harvesting instructor. Will have to get to this later since I don't have time to do pathing right now.
Esmarin McTane - Redid from scratch. Note: This is one of the NPCs for Lucara's Experimental Apron Quest.
Shalla Tor - Redid from scratch.

The Cows need to be rescripted. Some 'hail' but don't move and others move but don't 'hail'.
Farmhand Redstalk - His script needs to be redone but I have to do it when I have more free time since he's a pather. So he's been backburnered for tonight. Will get back to him later.
