Details:
Cyclone Kick never lands (Marauding Spirit resists your Cyclone Kick I). Cyclone Kick is acting like a spell, and whatever spell skill it is checking is a 1 (I don't have any spells that would increase my spell skills). However, Cyclone Kick is a melee attack and should be using my melee skill, which is maxxed for my level. My other attacks land appropriately, but I have never landed a Cyclone Kick since I got it.

Cyclone Kick is using the Hand to Hand skill, and works for me.
