Nah, our quests are indexed by number and chunk. So we can keep them the same name. Just some of the designers choose to rename them to make it easier I guess.

I do expect us to lose more and more of the quest info as we proceed further in. Tursh and IOD were very easy because there's so many resources for them. But I'm worried as we get into the 40's (The level that many people don't even reach) that we're going to really start losing quest info.

I think at this point that I've decided mostly to ignore the four missing quests and I intend to actually do a proper dungeon crawl questline from the Orcbane Mines and into the Vault of Heroes (Dungeon).

I'm going to take some time to think about what I want to do and how to do it. For now I'm just going to leave them alone and proceed with other chunks while I ponder over it.

Did a lot of cleanup. The Broken Fang's southern camp (The one that's next to the town) has been cleaned up.

I haven't really touched the Vault of Heroes area (inside or out) or the Orcbane Mines (The mines near the Moleshark area). Those are areas I intend to redo from scratch with new quests so I don't want to touch it right now. So I wouldn't explore through there unless you want to get shanked.

Some areas still need some cleanup, the Urugog Cave, the bears, and some of the mobs in the western part of the chunk (Kaonish area) need cleanup. I may save that to show some of the new Content Designers how to spawn combine. (Which should be done last).

I still need to set up the missives, but I might save that for the new CD guys too.

@Jakkal - I'm seeing a common issue in and around Vault of Heroes. Killing many quest mobs seems to count as four (4) toward completion of a quest rather than just one. Within the quests affected by this, mobs always award four, never more and never less. I have seen this many times and have put in a few /bugs but now I'm wondering if this signifies something larger not just an issue with the individual quests themselves.

Are you aware of this issue at large? Would you like me to continue to /bug every time this happens or am I just reporting a known issue ad nauseam? I would rather offer my help testing elsewhere if so. Thanks very much!

This is the first I've heard of it. I tested the quests multiple times when setting it up. But right now I can't even get into VoH, so now we're wondering what's going on. I'd say not to bug it right now. We'll take a look and see what's going on.

This problem appears to have been from a recent update and wasn't a problem with these particular quests, but about quest kills in general. We think we've fixed it now.

10-4. I will give it a shot tomorrow and see if I can replicate it anywhere. I will be sure to let you know if I see anything similar. Thanks for the quick reply.

As a quick point of reference, this only seemed to come up in what I would call "kill quests", or in other words, quests specifically asking for you to kill a number of mobs. Quests which ask you to kill a particular mob and then harvest a quest item for completion did not exhibit the same behavior.

I did some behind the scenes cleanup of VoH last night. We found a better way to do the Leader-Followers scripting, so I had to edit all of those around the Broken Fang slave camp. I think there are still some pathers that might need updating in the broken fang area next to Tahean's Vengeance. I'll check that out later tonight when I get off work.

All quests worked for me, the only issue is the follow up as mentioned - Intervention is the only quests that leads somewhere else so at lvl13-14 is the end of the line here

I redid "Go for the Juggler" with a newer, more streamlined version of the code. Hopefully it works better. Please let me know if anyone has problems with it.

I also noticed that this quest gives you a key for the Juggler, but it doesn't mention it anywhere in the quest, nor anywhere else. I'm thinking about putting a check on it to make sure you have the key. If you don't, then you have ot kill some of the dudes in the camp. But for now, the Key is just a .. wasted inventory slot while doing the quest.

Hreldgor T'jelad in Vengeance does not have a quest indicator, but he gave me a quest. (I like to randomly see what people have to say even if they don't have a quest marker, but I don't check nearly everyone.)
