Hello everyone

Animals mobs set up as harvesting nodes (skinning) do not allow you to loot them normally. You have to use /loot command The skinning icon replace the normal loot bag symbol.

The loot sparkles appear around the animal mobs corpse but you don't get the loot bag symbol you get the harvest symbol instead.

Can someone confirm this isn't how it worked on live? From the logs I have that's what it looks like was going on - and I just know from what elements this uses it's much easier to have it work this way although it could be hacked to have loot default on right click.

Currently it's intended to have the harvest option automatically when right clicked then the loot bag should pop up after the harvest has been finished. Or you can /loot to go right to looting.

Are we talking about looting before skinning or after?

If a mob had a lootable item on it, you could not skin it, at all. Once it was looted, the dots would disappear and it would become skinnable.

After you looted, I think the loot window popped up automatically and you clicked the loot button, like all harvesting nodes. Though you could close it and not take the loot, and pick it up later with a normal treasurebag icon over it.

This will work the way Jakkal described on the next update.
