Sweet! Good job bro. I guess I should have kept looking at YouTube videos. I wonder why they would remove the message from the quest? Seems like a weird thing to change. So it seems like 3 is either the minimum number of kills required, or that it is the actual amount of kills required.

Okay, thanks for the input guys. I think I know how to do this. I might mess with it this weekend if someone else doesn't fix it.

Edit: Okay, is this more like it? Note: Right now it's still random, you have a 1 in 6 chance of getting the quest objective. I don't have time to fiddle with it to either make it a fixed number or how far away it is from the questgiver. But it does have the popup now.

That looks great, nice job. Also definitely think 1 in 6 random is the way to go over fixed since the quest text is non-fixed as well.

Many of the quests I scripted are set to a 1 in 1 chance for testing purposes. I hadn't gone back through and redone those to be more random before the crap hit the fan.

I also have it set up to send the message to the chat. I've been trying to do that with any popups that might show up during combat. Anyone that played a melee class understands why. For those that didn't, if you spam abilities, often times the "You can't do that yet" message would override any other popups, so you'd miss them completely.

Weird. It might have been tuned down for f2p, or maybe that guy got lucky with the three kills. I always had to do more than three, but yes, the sense of the quest was, don't kill an excessive number. Maybe the downhill ones were excluded and the close ones had a high chance for credit. I don't think I ever got two credits in a row. Maybe a total of three credits with 60-80% chance per kill. Completion on three kills should be *unlikely*, same with it taking ten or more.

The details of this particular quest may not seem hugely important, but it's good to get a feel for some things that might be mathematically weird a little further down the road.

Shang village is the lv 1-3 content for Tanvu's starting area and it seemed like it needs a fair bit of work by itself so I'm going to go ahead and post these. Tanvu itself seems to have had a 2nd pass already and I am not seeing many issues there, but I'm not finished yet

What I have done so far in Tanvu. I am stopping now at Master Tallon Darkfist due to 2 quests not being workable and part of the quest line. No **** on the quest or person means no issues
