Known Issues
- (This quest has been addressed more recently in the following forum post : viewtopic.php?f=59&t=5010&start=10#p27895 ) The quest "The Imperial Poacher" involves getting "Imperial Poacher" to leave the area but there does not seem to be much information available on how you do this. Best I can deduce from obscure messages I found online you must confront him and kill him or somehow convince him to go away. I can't see the latter ever working though. I have not implemented the killing portion of the quest but implemented a completion step that allows you to advance the quest after failing to convince him to leave.
- A few pathers in the Shrines have been skipped as they are very short paths and hard to completely determine. Some rough path will be chosen for these soon though. The names are Muan, Tangx, and Eyrdra Sungrass .
- The Rift Keeper should have a quest called "A Need for Heroes" which appears to happen at all (or at least many) Rift Keepers. Although this quest appears simple I have skipped it as I'm not sure exactly how it interacts with the other Rift Keeper quests. I have not implemented the hailing quest either in case this NPC requires special treatment.
- Some of the Runic Consoles on the Arks of Harmony are supposed to spawn the 4 main elemental boss mobs but they currently are not implemented to do that. Also some mechanics of working the consoles may require some changes relating to getting to the Main boss at the top of the central tower. The console at the entrance of the Ark gives you an option that should only be there after you kill all 4 elemental bosses but that still needs to be worked on.
- The teleport to/from Magi Hold for quest "A Unity of Purpose" is quite simple. You click on the glowing beam and you teleport to the other chunk. I am not sure how this really worked in the original game so if anyone has any more details on how that worked let me know. Also teleports were added to Magi Hold to cross the water to get to the Tomb of Lord Tsang to allow "A Unity of Purpose" to be completed. These will be needed by other quests in Magi Hold.

Ah, nice. I'm looking forward to getting to that floating island without my flying reindeer. So far I've been able to figure out these quests by the info in the DBE alone since there is very little info online about how they fit together. Keep an eye out for questions I might put in the above quests.
Of course if you see anything done incorrectly in the quests done so far you can let me know here. Always looking to do things the right way.

I might have video from the whole quest line not sure though. All I know it it was one of the more memorable quest lines in the game along with the level 45 one Dragxxxx (forgot the name) dungeon with the ghost dwarves.

Ah, a video would be pretty helpful if you happen to have one. Sometimes that shows small details that are helpful while setting up quests and NPCs and such. Ultimately there's a lot of stuff we're missing so we kind of have to just fill in the blanks with something that sounds right to us. But I prefer to implement it as close to the original as possible.
Right now the quest sites have very minimal information about the quests in Jalen's Crossing so I'm kind of winging it by reading the text for the quest that is in the DBE. In most cases I can make sense of it but I fear someday I'll hit a dead end and have to totally make something up.
Keep an eye on this thread as I might throw a question out about JC that I'm not sure about.

I've implemented the Runic Consoles in Jalen's Crossing so you can teleport to the Arks of Harmony. The bosses don't drop the items you need to get into the tower so I turned on the condition for the "return" console to give an option to enter the central tower. You can then ride up the tower on that anti-gravity thingy.
Specific information about how the Runic Consoles work is very scarce so I had to kind of guess how things worked. If anyone specifically remembers how they worked and if I have them implemented incorrectly let me know.
Also I added chunk messages when you get into the Ark areas like I did with the Shrines below.

Beware! Renfax the Corrupter has started traveling around the lands of Jalen's Crossing.
