My final moments in Vanguard

Given the gm 9 million hp buff, I headed off in the final hour to solo Syranoth with Xinghao. I had tagged along with Fiernia and made the treacherous trek to Syranoth on my own before, but I had never had the ability to solo her. I had her down to 30%, when I misclicked a feign death and she reset. I thought I'd switch back over to Thrayceus to enjoy the boat ride and farewell party....then remembered that after a server shutdown message, the servers are unavailable to log in again. And so I just sat there, in disbelief, that my final moments weren't spent in the company of friends or meditating silently on the beautiful landscape, but rather in staring at the "Waiting for world servers..." screen about 30 minutes prior to the end of the world.

The servers actually got turned back on to fix the problem so in the last 30 mins, everyone could log back on and they hit the 15 min timer at 6pm, so we got an extra 15 mins for the mix up but sorry to hear you missed it.

Funny, I went to solo the Forever Tree only because those trees pissed me off. I got Lord Falawhatever down to like 35%, my back against a huge rock so he couldn't throw me. But I left the window only for 5s to brag to Xinux that I was going to chop this tree down, and he turned me sideways enough and blasted me back through the rock, and reset. Then he had the balls to stand there looking at me... daring me to start again... with 5m left on my buff.

Gave him the bird, and tossed my personal torch on his wooden ass.
