Re: Beta 1 Screenshots
Wow, those screens are actually super useful for anyone wanting to actually rebuild that UI. When I made the Photoshop reconstruction I only had a couple older official screenshots to work with. Do you have any with the question log or other UI elements open?

Wrong Character Model In-Game (Humans)
I could not decide where to file this under, so Server it is! I don’t know if anyone has noticed this yet, but it seems that regardless of which Human type I make, their models all convert to Mordebi in game. This has happened with both Male and Female models, both Thestran and Kojani seem to be s ...

Re: Client Availability
Shockingly enough, Vanguard compresses amazingly well. I saved off a copy of the final client and it compressed down to <5gigs from almost 20, more than enough to get it plus all of my screenshots and UI assets on a single DVD-DL. As a worst case scenario, Torrenting it should not be too stressful ...

(Unrealistic Suggestion) Beta Models
Alright, first off, I'm just going to assume this is close to impossible. But it warrants asking anyway. One of the reason I stopped playing Vanguard a couple months after release is that I felt the game was pretty much going downhill with every patch (I do not blame SOE btw, but that is another ...

Re: Bring back /claim
Place them on various NPC's and have them ask you trivia questions about VG's history. If you answer correctly, you get the veteran/anneversary rewards.
I mean, honestly there is not a point in having an NPC ask you trivia questions as a "test". That would be more of a ...
Re: "Beta" UI
Well, custom UIs have always been supported in VG, they just have to be valid files that can be interpreted by the client. I messed with making custom UIs way back in beta some 8 odd years ago now, but never really did all that much. Mostly just changed fonts and colors and whatnot. Really, you can ...

Re: /who is Anonymous?
I’ve almost always been /anon in EQ2 for the entire 9 years I’ve played that, for multiple reasons. One reason, as was previously stated, was for hiding location when forming up for contested mobs. Without Anon, it’s just too easy for guilds to spy on each other. All you have to do is /who all [guil ...
"Beta" UI
I've never had enough knowledge to fully "restore" the UI in Vanguard to it’s vastly superior T.King version from mid-beta. The furthest I ever got was a Photoshop reconstruction, placing all the elements back into their proper place. I know it’s totally possible to recreate the UI almost perfectly, ...
