Been ages since I have been on, but nice to see the crazy amount of progress. Sent over a few bucks via Paypal. Also, you guys need server gear or anything like that? I work in electronics recycling and come by lots of still useful gear that's decently modern. Not sure if the hosting is 3rd party ...

The ranger seemed to achieve damage based on the ammo without modifications, so using level 50 arrow's base damage helped a ton. The only real challenge was not running out of energy when using splitting arrow.

Yeah, they really nerfed bard speed. When the server comes along further, I am definitely going to experiment with speed buffs on items since some classes are just painfully slow to play with.

Toying with Vanguard on a HP Stream 7 tablet and it is pretty decent, I never thought I would see multi core x86 tablets be so cheap. It also runs Half-Life 2 decently.

Rez sick was such a waste, but luckily it capped out at -50%. Still, just seemed like an unneeded penalty on top of XP debt and item damage. Though, I did like tombstones, I spent many a bored evening dying hundreds of times just to write out obscenities and draw pictures with them.

I just use the speed command instead. The back of my character is less interesting than all the terrain.

The original launch disks are far from functional with the sunset version of VG, just a heads-up.

It just said "Hail, Mailbox!" and "Hail Forge" and the like. Had to be right clicked on IIRC.
