Since SOE decided to kill VG and its fanbase, we had one small patch and tombstones IMO have been turned off purposely to prevent player rez if release. If you solo play this means NO REZ possible and lose of XP to point of De-Leveling. IMO this is done to ensure those few paying members here continue to stay and pay until July Is there any REAL TIME ETA on turning back on Tombstones or is it off for good? The few of us left would like to know... What about Places Like Mekalia that have been closed since SOE took over? Any eta on opening them up? Dont get me wrong I thank all (3 of the coders/developers) left on VG for keeping it going for so long but come on Since there is going to be NO New content or updates should be alot easier. Seems Yaviley has been MIA since the announcement and kept it professional since..disappointed
You can't de-level. Just a different death penalty, you lose some experience but don't have to retrieve anything. As solo you weren't getting rezzed anyway. But traditionally, yes, there's supposed to be a tombstone. The way to have kept more people to the end would have been to make the announcement on July 30. I can't speak for the staff or what goes on to change the game around, most of it's not been particularly helpful. I suppose it's good to have movement and buffing issues ironed out so that new content balancing is easier...?
