Hi I'm looking for the dropped spell for the caster ORB, havent seen one in forever, is it still in game ir did it get removed, or bugged out and not dropping anymore. Anyone have knowledge as to where and what mobs it drops from and has seen it recently. Thx P.S will pay up to 20pp for it if someone has it laying in a bank some where
My Necro got his ORB spell from the Malfunctioning Spark inside APW (mini named) about 1-2 months ago.. The ones that drop off the APW mini named are untradable though so you need to be present in the kill on the necro. But the spark is easy enough to solo as a Necro if you can make it to the hub.
IIRC Orb can drop in RI off Flare (or Flame?) Maidens. But I've heard camping horror stories of burnt necros loosing their sanity and eating their pet for nourishment after being out there so long.
My orb came from one of 4-dot level 50 CAPS NAMED in one fo the easier western (no dang OP cats) pyramids. 30 minute respawn, but placeholders. Soloable. Slow slog to solo to but easy to camp near once you've done it (especially if you have a flier). Also Necrops-able for the BIS life leech fist if you don't have that yet. Sparks more efficient if you can get the knack of feigning to hub. find a crafter to give all the awesome crafting tools/bags you'll get while farming, too!
I believe the ones in RI and the ToT area are on the trivial loot code,so if you're over 51 they won't drop for you. Don't know for certain, but that's what I was told from others when we were trying to get it for our meatbot.
Nice to hear its still dropping, devs should add it to the loot table of Pota named like all the other spells , There are still Necros out here but we never get any love. Just another grind feast for a spell.
I promise with a bit of practice you can make the FD-trip to the spark pretty confidently, and the spark with yellow 55 grafts is not that bad. Didn't know the rest were in pota though, dayum! @_@ *yellow grafts @ 55, rather.
