HELP!!!

I just recently got a comp that could play this game ive been eyeing it since launch i downloaded it and when i click play it goes and alternates between a windowed screen and a black one and just flashes over and over im dying to play pls help

I have downloaded this game three times, I try to play it and my screen continues to flash but I have to restart my pc to get it to stop. I want to play but it won't let me, please help

Is it the launcher crashing or does this happen after when you should get the character select screen?

One thing that seems to be getting more common is that Vanguard requires DirectX 9c, which is not included if you install a latest version of DirectX, it needs to be added individually.
