Ive been playing for years during day,night in game and never had issues. Logged out at 11pm est last night and everything was fine. Logged in at 9am this morning and even tho game time was 1am it was pitch black in game could Barely see beyond me. I even used the Torch for the first time and still couldnt see past the torchlight like i was able to before. No Settings were touched or changed between last night and this morning... For me the Game is now unplayable...Anyone give me advice...I checked Gamma and brightness and thats not an issue
I haven't seen that. Did you try moving the gamma slider just a small amount? Other than that you might try the /setfog 999999. I use that sometimes when I want to see far away. Also might try ] to move the clipping plane out some.
It happens to me occasionally when I play in windowed mode. Setting the game options to "Full Screen" usually fixed it for me.
