Long load screen times between character swaps

  1. Since the August 7th update, I'm getting progressively longer load screens between character swaps. The load bar reaches max, and the window just freezes anywhere from 15-30 seconds before pulling up the the UI and rendering the world. After the 6th or so character, I'm getting horrible chugging reminiscent of the old memory leaks.
I can see on my other box that the character has entered the world before that freeze hits but is floating during those 15-30 seconds(normal before you gain control.)
    Computer Effected: 4GB ram, e8400, ATI 4870x2
Running windowed or fullscreen has no change.
    Sound is disabled.
    Highest performance settings.
I cleared out the Cache Directory, and deleted my vgclient.ini.
  2. I am also experiencing this, I logged in right next to you today Dielle and heard the buffs going off for a good 15-20 seconds before I could actually see anything.
Not sure if PC specs help but:
    i7 3960X Extreme OC to 4.5 (15 MB Cache)
    Win 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
    32GB RAM
    GTX 590
Sound ON using Sound blaster Titanium
Full screen or windowed has no change for me either
Highest graphic settings (when logging in, changed for raiding)
I have recently deleted my Cache and run a full scan of the VG client, Defragged did not make a difference.
  3. Vanguard is one of those games which really love SSD if you have one.

This is a new issue particular to the update. I am running on an SSD.

It also made the game unstable. Keeps crashing video drivers and finally locks up the whole game.
  6. I've narrowed down the cause of this, and it's the multiple Awesomiumprocess.exe.
After I load the client for the first time, pick a character, and begin loading the game, my client spawns this process during the load screen. In my case, it spawns 3 of them. If I completely close the client, all the Awesomium instances disappear.
However, when you log out and go back to character select, this process does not close. The game seems to be hanging up trying to spawn 3 more Awesomium process'es when it can't.
If I open task manager, and manually kill all the Awesomiumprocess.exe while my client is at character select, I do NOT get the long load screens. The game loads as fast as the 1st character I try to log in.
