Features Forum
The purpose of this forum is to soak up as much of your fresh Vanguard-playing minds before they turn to dust over the years. As an example, I placed a feature Volt mentioned here.
This is not the Wish List, or what you want to see... this is what you know exists, that you cannot live without (see Volt's example).
My list is stuff we already know about -
Sailing Ships
Open-world Housing
The Riftway system
The any dungeon, at any time, by anyone
The character "perception" capabilities
You have a favorite feature of VG:SOH that stood out, or that VG:SOH did better than the other games? Let's hear it.

Re: Features Forum
The /rope command was genius.
I will do my best to think of others but its near midnight here and morning is going to come early.

Re: Features Forum
While not in the current build the /consent /consentgroup /consentraid commands for corpse dragging came in dame handy.
Re: Features Forum
It may be automatic, but something I liked was the snarky combat log. For instance, at least at times, it called Xenn sahaugin; when a mob resisted your dread knight's dreadful countenance, it became "less T E R R I F I E D" with the caps in tutti frutti colors; sometimes it informed you that "You have increased apathy with (your name) by 0". I guess it never parsed right especially for blood mages, but we didn't really need to do that.
The almost-fully-customizable UI was pretty good, aside from not saving your scale changes. Its weak point to me seemed to be the sweeping shadow edge of the cooldowns moving towards a darkened edge of the icon, it was hard to tell if a 20s or longer cooldown had refreshed. I never had reason to try a 3rd party UI but I sure hit a lot of "you can't do that yet". I am a huge fan of removing everything unnecessary (including tooltips and all names) and shrinking the rest, which made Vanguard very immersive, almost no clutter in its wondrous panoramas.

Hmm,,,
"Learned" abilities
Combat reactions
everything to do with Diplomacy
Combos/Macros (I liked VGs take on macros, like how DKs could use Shadowstep to get behind an enemy then use their lifetap that only works from behind), There were all sorts of useful combos one could make out of short macros.
Harvesting
Fishing
and the music...defo the music....the CD of the game soundtrack and the art book are the things I still use from the CE. Thanks to the visuals and that soundtrack, one can seriously chill out in this game.
and VGs combat in general, imho it has the best combat system of any MMO ever made. Its not a button-mashing, mindless grind system for sure.

The unicorn and shadow hound quests. Man, it took so long for me to get that stupid hound, but it was badass and fast and I loved it once I had it.
Also, mentoring was in there eventually.
And the sorc's Chaos Bolts and Chaos Volley.
Hooray necroposting!

Unicorn and Shadowhound quests are in game now though. Though a warning - the quest areas haven't been cleaned up for either (As we do that last for a chunk). The mobs also only have auto attack and Taqmir's bolts currently, so while the mobs seem easier, Player abilities aren't hitting for what they really should be, so it evens out. But the point is, the quests are in and you can do them.
Re: Features Forum
Honestly the FFA PvP, seamless world, and ship travel were the main things I loved about the game. Seeing as these are pretty core to the gameplay I dont think I need to worry about them being left out.
