Details:
Didn't try this too much. But mounting on my venerable blue griffon caused my helmet graphic to be lost, as if I weren't wearing one. Checked the settings and I don't have 'hide helm' selected.

Unable to reproduce this.

I remembered seeing this in IoD on one of the two toons I use the most. Tried multiple griffons, cannot reproduce it. Sorry not much help...
