Thank God I wasn't around for that. It would make me hate the game I love. I quit right when the level cap increase came out, and didn't come back until F2P. I only played off and on as time allowed, so I never did the POTA grind, which I know was made easier. The 50-55 grind was crap in itself, even after F2P.

I curse Slappy, I curse him and all the needless bloat from IoD. I think you guys are right in saying he was a herald of the end. It showed how the dev focus was moving away from a more gritty, serious world (Allbeit with some VG styled humor) to more of a goofy, pandering mess.

Ya possibly the single most truthful statement I have read concerning VG and it's SOE devs --ever.

Would it be possible to place Slappy's corpse, face down for eternity, at a key location in the world, for all to see? Or maybe some cruel and just irony at the spawn point of mob? Just some ideas. Make him boss or raid mob we could kill?
