What can I do?

I wish I had known this project was going on, I would have helped with data collection. I logged in a few times and it was way too depressing to play knowing the world was coming down - so I downloaded the soundtrack from the web and made my peace with it...as much as possible. So glad to see this project going on!

So what can I do to help if anything? I can't program worth a crap. I doubt you need a concept artist since the world already exists. Maybe I can help with your wiki when I have some time? If not then I eagerly await the time I can log in and make a character.

Well I would imagine that when the time comes, that helping out with content creation will be a HUGE asset. Even if they have a team of people, having more would only help. Lets face it, VG had an HUGE amount of content, between spawns, quests for adventuring, all the diplo stuff, ect. Many chunks, cities, dungeons. Its a LOT of replace.

You can log on and make a character right now. Character creation and entering the world has been done for months. Movement is a little jumpy, but we're working on that.

Ah wonderful. I thought I read somewhere it was not ready for play yet. I will have to make some time to play this weekend. (Working on an art project atm). If it is helpful to you at any time to do some concept artwork for things I am at your disposal. I think it might also be possible to scout out some old websites for game info. My previous guild held onto the old Vanguard forum when they did a website redo. I can see if the guild master still has the old files. We had a lot of info in there on all sorts.

I have secured the forum for Vanguard from my guild. They were quite active in all spheres. Sadly they moved sites at some point so our info is only from the last 3 years. All the stuff from prior to is gone.
