Since we started this project, we've been pimping VGOEmulator.net as the primary site for Vanguard Emulator. While it will continue to be the main hub of game design and development, there is an alternative for those who are not interested in developer chatter. A brand new community based on VG:SOH is being built at VGOPlayers.com just for players.

The forum is set up like the old SOE forums for Vanguard, and hopefully will become filled with chatty, happy New Telonians.

Everyone is of course welcome to be a part of these forums as well. There's a lot still to discuss as we begin building your game. I'm sure you'll see me popping up everywhere from here out That's how I roll (plus I like 5-digit post counts).

Thank you guys. There are some tweaks I need to make this weekend to that forum, mostly permissions and stuff. I'm also thinking I need to dislodge it from the portal, because it's causing me eye strain just trying to read the posts Who makes a theme 800px wide anymore? I got triple 24" screens. Give me some width!

I'm sure most people visiting the site are at the very least using 1080p.

Great work on the site. I was wondering if we could pop the link to the wiki over there. It might serve as a good reference source for players as well as devs. Maybe even get a few people interested in help filling it up.

I notice the initial lead-in selection for the Vanguard Emu community now eventually leads to the Dev boards no matter what (even if you click on the community vs dev forums). The Community boards are still findable via google, but seem to be dead, maybe for the very reason I just mentioned above? Last post was in 2017.

Edit: Being a Vanguard Newbie, its always nice to read about how things used to be and how awesome it was.

Host upgraded to PHP 7.x which broke a ton of stuff on the community site and since John is not around anymore I gave myself a crash course in PHP in order to fix the development site I just haven't got around to fixing the community site yet since it was not very high on my list and was not used very much.
