A Collection of Weirdness
So I logged in today and my previously level 12 Kojani disciple was a level 50 half giant dread knight. She just looked like a naked Kojani chic though. My UI showed her as level 12. All of her gear and ability buttons on the hotbar are missing and the "log out" button seems to be no longer working. Should I just delete her and make a new character or is this all part of some greater plan?

Re: A Collection of Weirdness
I just restarted the New Telon server. If you would, log the same character in again and see if it's still the wrong graphics. Also, are these visuals at Character Select or In Game?
Note that no code has changed on NT in a week, so if this "suddenly" happened, it's something old.

Re: A Collection of Weirdness
Right now, on the character select screen all appears normal, even that she is still wearing armor. On log in I come into game with the UI toggled as if I had hit F10. Het armor and weapons and everything that was in her inventory are gone except the starter weapons. Her gold is in tact. All icons for attacks and spells are gone. I noticed this both before and after the server restart. (I was going to relog but the server was down.) All of her hit point and attribute values show 0 but the character window shows her to be a level 50 half giant dread knight, though she still looks kojani.

I just logged in my druid character and everything is working normally on her. Druid is level 1, no xp whatsoever, wood elf.

The log out button works on the druid but not on the disciple. Thats weird
Also just notice that ethere are no NPCs or mobs where the disciple is. I log the druid in and the world seems fine. This sort of leads me to believe the disciple might be stuck someplace? Doesnt really explain the level change though.

Re: A Collection of Weirdness
Ok rifting seems to have cleared up the graphic issues. I wonder if some of the rest of my issues are related to a death I had right before I logged out yesterday? I didn't go collect my tombstone. It seems you can't collect a tombstone or am I doing this wrong? It also seems my character's name has spontaneously changed to "Solo". Half of my armor has reurned, but only thet half that was the start up gear. Anything I upgraded later is still gone.
Re: A Collection of Weirdness
SOE removed tombstones within the last year of VG being live. So I believe right now the emulator is from that time period. So we don't leave any tombstones at all.
Re: A Collection of Weirdness
This sounds similar to the problem at viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1049. After Shargash chunks, he shows up as
1. Level 50 half-giant DK
2. Name is Solo
3. Icons for attacks and spells are gone
I haven't tried the logout button. /camp works after chunking, but it does not work before chunking when the UI looks like I hit F10. /quit does work, however.

Yup, Xinux is chasing this down. And since this "just started happening", it means a recent change (prior to rev 1450, because that's where New Telon sits) broke it. I'll await XInux's analysis before I start cracking skulls.
