Details:
As a Ranger and I use the ability "Prepare Campfire" the actual camp fire is off the ground by a foot or so.

We don't currently have a way to tell exactly where the ground is, so it's placed at a height that minimized it going into terrain if on a hill, but thus hovers a bit in other situations. Player height also affects how it's placed.
