After eating food, the food effect continues after I stand up. IIRC, standing before eating is complete should cancel the effects of eating.

from what I remember standing did stop the regen effect of food on live.
If the regen effect doesn't stop when you stand, you could fight with high regen from food,
I want to see a person duel wield while eating a sandwich hehe

People shouldn't be bugging food. We know it's in a bad state. It only exists as it does to give non-healer classes a chance to continue playing after getting in a fight that hurts them.
