Bug 548: (Content) I am getting the following err...
Bug ID : 548 - I am getting the following err... Bug Date : 2016/05/10 10:10:09 Assigned To : Content Priority : Low Category : VGClient Sub-Category : Gameplay: Other Severity : Standard Reproducible : Some of the timeDetails:
I am getting the following errors:
"Lua UpdateAttributeBuffBonusValue command error: failed to update value for attribute id=3"
"Lua UpdateAttributeBuffBonusValue command error: failed to update value for attribute id=115"
I got this error on a monk character. I then logged off, deleted the character, and then recreated it. I'm getting the same error. I haven't used any abilities yet.
Originated From World: New Telon (1) Chunk : Tursh Village (144) Location : 26555 12426 35658

If they haven't used any abilities, then it's most likely someone else since errors are global. Either a content designer working on an ability or another player spamming one that's broken/unfinished. Could be a debuff since I think those are not yet working on NPCs.
I created a test Monk just in case and got no errors.

I suspect that is the Dread Knight's spell devour strength. Seems like 90% of the people that drop in with new toons make DKs and spam that thing LOL.
Edit: It was that spell. I have removed the parameters from it for now.

I think I spazzed a bit when I submitted the bug, and I was using an ability. I didn't realize at the time that the ability, in addition to damaging the mob, also buffs the monk. I suspect the monk buff part isn't implemented yet. The damage part is working.

Probably Eagle Claw. The script should be fine.
As OncaLupe said, NPCs are not being initialized yet with stat and attributes so any attempt to debuff or buff them will fail. Hopefully soon, either Ratief or I can get around to putting in default NPC stats.
