Where am I?
I was running through Tursh Village when I hit the water at 3000 speed, and ended up I think, under the world. When I looked around, I saw this:
Where the hell am I? Does this mean there are hidden places in the existing chunks that are completely isolated?

Re: Where am I?
Looks like Riftseeker's Torrent. There are a few rifts/portals to move around in there.
Think you found a new way inside though, lol.

Re: Where am I?
Thanks, Volt! That makes sense now why I heard the names of these places, but they were not "chunks" in our list. I guess this is like Cyrcle's CoW explorations. I wonder how many more chunks have secret places like this?
Was it obvious to players they were in Tursh Village chunk when they were exploring Riftseeker's Torrent?

Yes. You would still see Tursh Village on your minimap. Also if you do /loc it will most likely get you a result similar to "You are in QurXa in Riftseeker's Torrent in Tursh Village". Btw, /loc is client side and very handy.

Not to be confused with the Qur'Xa in Lomshir.

I don't think /loc helped me much in this case (screenshot). It said I was in Tursh Village, which is why I asked. I do believe there is more to "locations" than we know right now, because of my earlier questions about "how does Char Select know I am at Derogar's Post exactly?" This is probably another one of those cases.

Arrh sorry I didn't look at your screenshot before. I see now that you did /loc and it only said Tursh Village. Hm I could have sworn I tried this ingame (emulator) before I told you it was client side but trying again I can not get it to work. Maybe it was me, or maybe it is depending on the location. This is interesting and I will keep my eyes open for this.

Just for reference, these are locations inside Riftseeker's Torrent that I have in old notes. I didn't make up the names myself but I assume I found them with /loc.:
Riftseekers Torrent: Oubliette of the Ulvari Master Xaozin
Riftseekers Torrent: Qur'Xa
Riftseekers Torrent: Realm of Xathok
Riftseekers Torrent: Temporal Fortress, Temporal Colloquium
Riftseekers Torrent: Temporal Fortress, Temporal Rift of Utaalk
Riftseekers Torrent: Temporal Fortress, Temporal Rift of Utkin

Re: Where am I?
Cool Volt, thanks. In EQ2, there were area bounds we could literally "draw" with LUA that when entered, popped up an on-screen message "You Are Here", with the name of whatever that section of the zone was. I imagine VG is the same in this respect, regards to my Derogar's Post, inside the Halgarad Chunk example.
The difference is, VG's character select shows the "area" as the current location - I think the way it's laid out, the world can pass that info to Login (Xinux?) so when we implement "areas", they will likely have a lookup table with bounds coordinates that are referenced in VGO-Lua. Guess that's off topic, but something to think about.

You're correct on that front. Also, would like to note, that with the .move command, you cannot set the rotation.

Hey, I was just screwing around looking to see if I could find the old cat starting planet under the world, and came across another Riftseeker's Torrent box in Lomshir (from a convo on VGOPlayers Community). I was surprised to see another one, until I saw Sacred's post here
So are there many chunks with this "box" in it? Or did I just happen to randomly pick the 2 chunks that had it, and went to the locs? Spooky.
