Re: Where am I?
Speaking to "hidden places" in general, there are a few things physically sealed off from their surroundings.
Human (Varanthari?) diplo quests in Lomshir unlock a sealed building where you talk to a Mysterious Stranger. Similarly, the griffon quest at one point, ports you through a locked door in New Targonor (that one probably is just the same room in the same place in the chunk, but they don't simply open the door).
Xennumet, Vi'rak Lair, PotA and City of Brass are entirely sealed and probably "under" the chunk.
Hegnerian's area was sealed--it may not be a separate box, but if you log out from there, you will come back outside the door. Trickster's also has a fairly important secret room.
Hillsbury Manor "behind the mirror" is, I think, under its own basement. Chath's lair probably the same.
I heard that a house on the edge of Sepulchral Chasm had a secret area, but I never found it.
I think Arks of Harmony in Jalen's Crossing had a sealed area before sending you up to the sky islands.
It would be nice to bring back the Kura stuff in line with "original starter areas". It sounds like there is one spot for character spawning, and another for Lomshir diplo, similar to the humans, although a musty wooden house is nowhere near as impressive as an extra-planetary gate.
There may be more that were in use and who knows, others that never got connected, but these come to mind as fairly significant.

I think the location you are looking for is at ".move 62436 5590 8500". Click the floor there and it will open up the secret passage to the cave of wonders. The mobs in there use to be much lower level, but they bumped them up at some point (assuming I'm not loosing my memory).
Also, here is my post about the Kurashasa starting area in case you want to go see it.

Re: Where am I?
Chath's area was actually off to the side a bit, and underground, it was actually under someone's housing lot. We used to have people stand there during GYG if they were left out of the teleport (notorious bug) where they could still get credit if the group succeeded.
Re: Where am I?
Ok, so the house led to CoW...will go look around there. Yes, the comment I heard included "I used to solo these, but they got cranked insanely".
Concerning Chath...and I had to do this about 20 times, even with groups geared above the encounter, because it required a precise technique...never encountered the teleport bug that everyone seemed to dread. If that's a problem, and if you can exploit it by standing outside, it's something that ought to be fixed, like a fair number of the trials. The closest thing I'm comfortable with that resembles any kind of range/time exploitation, is where you can get credit if you die during a fight, but don't release.

Re: Where am I?
Standing outside is not an exploit. Because you couldn't participate. It was the closest you could get to in order to get quest credit. Chath wasn't a difficult encounter, the difficulty was mostly in that, a majority of times, at least one person was left out of the teleport. (And you had to wait 10 minutes to try again). We used to have a GM on hand (Doe usually) that would reset the chunk for us every 10-15 runs when we were doing "Get Your Griffon" because of it.
Standing outside allowed the left out characters to be close enough to at least get quest credit. The game left them out, so we don't see it as exploitation, as the character in question had no choice or say in the matter (And most of them were rightly pissed off about being left out). My guild could kill Chath with just two people (Not exploiting), so we'd have at least 4 in the group that needed the quest. So if any of them were left behind, that's where we'd tell them to stand.

Dammit, I knew I read this somewhere before but I couldn't find it for some reason. I even re-read that whole thread but missed you talking about "Temple".

Re: Where am I?
Off topic, but yes...I would agree it's not necessarily an exploit if the teleport is bugged, just that firstly, the teleport shouldn't be bugged, and secondly, there is no boundary between "I'm doing this because the encounter locked me out" and "I'm just going to stand here while you guys do the kill". Sure, Chath was not individually too tough, and two people could do it, but again, a total difference between it being two people who do it all the time, and a group who freshly plays up to the encounter--even if you had the right idea how to do it, someone would mess something up and you'd wipe. With a level 50 cap, I'd think that Akande as a raw power check, and Chath as a technical requirement, should be major obstacles, not casual knockouts.
Re: Where am I?
My Kurashasa was still bound in Qur'Xa after they closed it. I returned from time to time and have over 350 screenshots. As attachment you find a few with controls visible, to see markers on the mini map, but reduced resolution. I have more, and in Full HD, in case you are interested.
Worth mentioning might be that I did the Diplo introduction quest line up to the point where it was bugged, due to pathing errors (two duelists were meant to fight, but never reached each other). A screenshot of every new dialog option the NPCs gave is available.
On a side note, I also have a full set of screenshots of the Goblin starter quest line, where they break free from the slavers ship, do the rite of passage, and the full follow up quest line of spying in Khenvor. In case you don't have corresponding data collected, are you interested in that?

That is brilliant, thanks for being there. I knew I saw gold and white Yes, I'd be very interested in any data/screenshots you want to share of this temple. Thanks for posting.

Re: Where am I?
These will be helpful as I don't have the info on the mobs in the three areas attached to the temple. I'm not sure if we have anywhere that you could put them, but archiving them and putting them somewhere might be a good idea in case you have a hard drive crash. Alternatively, if you want to join our IRC channel you can send me the archive and I can be a backup for it.
