Re: Where am I?
strange indeed. I tried to .move into qurxa but could not get into the 'skybox' for some reason, but a black nothing (stupid me )
qurxa should be north/west of your loc in the screenshot in the water area with hills left and right you should find the collide skybox

Re: Where am I?
Are we talking about the same thing? Xur'qa vs Qur'xa? If so, I will go .move around a little more. It would be helpful if a single resource site out there had 1 /loc of a quest NPC or anything. That's how I find most stuff.
Edit: According to Wikia, Qur'xa is indeed at the location in my screenshot posted on VGOPlayers. I played a cat man, but I remembered the temple being white and gold, and not all dark and stormy.

Re: Where am I?
I'll look at these coords this evening. But a post by sacred states the location to be under the water . And theres indeed a colide object i found but somehow could not move inside (actually the physics freaked out last time i tried to slowly .move down bit by bit)
Re: Where am I?
I indeed mean Qur'xa viewtopic.php?f=25&t=88&start=40
These locs place me under water above a collide object that could be the skybox

Re: Where am I?
This (in Lomshir)
should drop you on the ground inside the box, in a box that resembles the Riftseeker's Torrent I fell onto in Tursh Village.
What I am still looking for is the actual temple, which I was sure had blue skies and was a white and gold building.
Note that if you land "on" a box in the world, you sometimes have to go 1,000 more Z up or down to enter it. Might be safety bounds around the box, dunno. But this is how I got inside.

Re: Where am I?
Bumping this old thread because I was just looking up old coordinates on Game Pressure for various places and surprised I hadn't done this before (or maybe someone has and I forgot). But the Riftseeker box mentioned in this thread does not appear to be the Qur'xa Temple, since I think I am standing in it right now.
.rift Lomshir (.move 8337 -2364 -16057)
Now *these* NPCs remind me of my time as a young Kurashasa so many years ago. There are a bunch of blue Portals in the area as well (.move 13881 -2458 -16062)
The only thing my memory is remembering that I do not see is again it seemed "lighter" in color and I swore there was an outdoors area with glowing rock formations or something like that. Maybe there are other hidden "floating" areas in this zone that the portals lead to still.

Re: Where am I?
Okay, I didn't read this whole thread but let me try to explain this stuff as best as I can remember it.
Qur`xa in a role playing sense was "Not on Telon", it was another world/dimension. It's where the Kurashasa originally came from (They are aliens on Telon). There is the Qur'xa starting area in Lomshir, which I believe was just a special spot under the world, think like a dungeon but you need teleporters to get to it.
The Riftseekers were looking for a way to use/harness the power of the Kurashasa portals, or maybe just portals in general. So in Riftseeker's torrent, which is a dungeon in the Tursh chunk, they have found portals to Qur'xa. Since in a game sense, you never go offworld, they just put the Qur'xa models in the chunk, under the world, and make it look as if you're on another world entirely. (The sky is a crazy weird nebulous kind of thing in Qur'xa, but you're still under the world in Telon). That's why when you fall through the world in Tursh, you might find the top of the Riftseeker's Torrent version of Qur'xa.
Does that make sense?

Re: Where am I?
Sorry Jak, I actually knew all that But what this last post was about was finding the x,y,z of the Temple, that I couldn't see posted anywhere else on these forums yet. I do remember being a cat man, and starting off in "some other place", but I do not remember it being Riftseeker's Torrent - or any sky box hidden below the terrain of another zone (I think there's one in Lomshir, too).
From my EQ/EQ2 emu experience, I know that artists hide stuff everywhere and put up obstacles so you cannot just see there is a floating box in the sky somewhere. So all that, I get. What I don't get was when I was starting as a Kurashasa, I swore the "temple" (where all my newbie NPCs still stand at level 10) was a sunny, white and gold, beautiful area. Now it seems all dark, like no natural light at all, and I see no "exit" to outdoors... but that could be my 8-year-fading memory thinking I simply walked up to this place from an outdoor location and began adventuring.
Either way, in the Sunset version of Vanguard -- was this Qur`xa temple still a part of the game? I thought I've been told the cat people started in Lomshir, period. No more old school 2007 temple or it's NPCs or quests. Maybe I misunderstood, again, and this discovery is moot because here's all the NPCs! Unlike the unfortunate Gnome population...

Re: Where am I?
No, the Kurashasa starting area was the same design as the Riftseeker's torrent one. They just copied it over and pasted it over there. It had the weird nebula sky and all that stuff.
Are you sure you're not thinking of the Raki? Cuz that sounds like their starting area. (Whitefawn Retreat).
Wait, I know what you're talking about! There was a golden temple, that's where the starter diplo took place. You eventually got there after you started outside. It was through that temple that you end up going into Lomshir. They removed that when they revamped Lomshir or undid the starter areas or something around that time.
I'll try to find screenshots. (Though a lot of my pics were on the comp that died. But I might have backups on this computer).
Edit: I couldn't find any on my comp, but I did find these where someone took screenshots of it.

Edit 2: I do have a screenshot of the Kura Temple:

Re: Where am I?
I think I have the locs for all 4 areas of the Kurashasa starting area (I'm pretty sure that I posted them in a thread somewhere here). Sadly SOE closed it down a long while ago. I think, but some disagree, that only Kurashasa could use the teleporter to get back once they left. I don't think our captures got the mobs for the 3 starting areas, but we have the NPCs for the main quest area.
