Checking In.
Hello Everyone,
Im just doing my monthly check in.
Wanted to see how far we are into testing.
I just bought a brand new computer and will be installing VG to come and enjoy and help with any content that I can.
Login Date anywhere from 2/20/17 - 3/1/17 depending on when my parts get in.
So, where abouts are we in the testing phase?
I am going to start with a Sorcerer and just run down everything I can to start, but I would like a starting point so that I may help where needed.

To some extent you'll need to figure out what is available to test. The content developers are banging stuff out at a good pace, but there is a crapload of content in VG, so there is still a long way to go. Abilities are a bit sketchy at this point. I think all classes have some abilities that work and some that don't. Stats, damage, HP, and so forth aren't balanced yet, so you can't really test balance and risk-reward. What I've mostly been doing is testing whether quests update and complete correctly, whether linked quests happen in the right order, that sort of thing, as well as testing specific abilities. Spawns aren't complete yet, so there are many places where there are way too many mobs, or multiple instances of the same named mob. To get through some quest sequences it may be necessary to boost your level (.setlevel) or turn aggro off (.agro). Expect to beat mobs that are way over your head and to die because you were swarmed by gray mobs from way too far away.
I have started a couple characters, only to abandon them because not enough was completed to really make progress. I just make a new character in a new area and try again. I intend to come back to those characters later when things are more developed.
The devs are working very hard, and I'd rather they do development than spend a lot of time communicating with me. So I just go out and play, bang out /bug reports when I see something. If I'm getting ahead of where they are, I can usually tell by the play. If I get it wrong, they can either tell me not to bug stuff (which they do occasionally) or file the bug for later.

Gotcha.
Well i will make a Qaliathari Cleric then and just stomp out all the quests possible and report anything i see.
should be pretty easy considering cleric was one of the easiest classes to level as.
