I can't wait to actually be able to play the game with my friends again. Back when the game was still official and there was no end in sight, we took it leisurely. When free to play hit, we took it even slower. I guess you could say that was a mistake. Lots of unfinished business in the world of Telon, lots and lots and lots. I had a mid level dreadnight, but I had other plate tank and plate healer classes lined up ready to be played and I never got the chance to explore them all in depth.
It's funny to say this about a "game" but I think of VG not every day but every few days it crosses my mind and I can only hope that the talented developers here will manage to get it running as close to the real thing as possible again so we can continue our adventures.
Right now it's cool to at least explore the world in it's pure art form, just by simply logging in. The people that designed the world were very talented and very detail oriented. The continent of Thestra is literally right out of my own mind, something I would have built if I was a game designer.
It will be a million times better when it's a real game again and we will all be there playing it together again.
Another really cool thing (but unlikely) would be to basically play RPG maker with a finished VG emulator. All original classes and their skills, gear/items and important game mechanics all in tact, but have the ability to build your own new quests/questlines in each chunk. One can really dream.
