Combat logs
Ok getting to a point where we are going to need to start figuring out mob health/damage etc etc based off level and difficulty of the mob.
I know people had parser they were running while fighting mobs could really use those logs or data if anyone has them since they would help
tremendously trying to figure out some general values. If i need to download anything special to parse the combat logs myself just let me know what i need.
Thanks

Re: Combat logs
I am also going to need to look at a lot of general logs to see how all the little numbers being passed around in combat relate to the different attack animations, etc., and how it handled sending updates to the UI. I have a few logs that I'm just starting to look into.
Xinux, if you find one where a player is actually killed by an NPC, that would be very valuable.

Re: Combat logs
Ok I've found 3 parser that will work for VG but they all need work in one way or another.
First
Xanadu parser
https://java.net/projects/xanadu-vg-parser
Need's some predefined charts created and could be decent other then that most fields don't populate.
Second
Advanced combat tracker
http://www.tascgenerator.com/download
This one seem's to be the best out of the box.
Third
ParseThis
http://home.gwi.net/~mboutin/parsethis/source.html
Now this one could be nice with some work to handle loot/kill/critical lines Could not get this to run on 64bit had to use a 32bit VM.

Re: Combat logs
This could work for a general idea if we have chat logs from people if not then we would need to write a parser using our collects.
Re: Combat logs
One of our guildies, Remedio, made this parser: http://remedio.tv/diversos/RemedioParser.zip
Not sure if it can help, but I thought I'd throw that out there as a fourth option.

Re: Combat logs
Do you guys want us to be using one of these to collect data?
