Yay! I just ran around in VG again!
Hey everybody!
I'm new here, i've known that this project existed but i havent created an account for forums etc before now. I downloaded a VG game client and Launcher and made it into the game and what can i say.. "Vanguard uses nostalgia: ITS VERY EFFECTIVE." What im wondering is if there's any commands we can use to get around super quickly/teleport etc? If you guys have any list of commands that we can use that would be great (if there is any.)
I hope that creation of this EMU is something that can become reality, how far have you guys come?

.speed 1500 is your friend.
Here's a list of all the rifts as well. Use .rift # or .rift {chunkname} to get around.

Thanks guys!
I just had a few thoughts/ideas that popped up in my head while running around on New Telon. For me personally the quests (im talking minor quests, the quest hubs with just XP as reward) are just lines of random text that mean absolutely nothing. What if more people are like me and would accept that you guys didnt have to recreate all of the quests and just focus on getting the mechanics/combat working?
Maybe even up the XP rate from straight up killing just a bit to make grinding (Lvling like in EQ1) more rewarding and have people level that way? It was basically how i lvled in Vanguard anyway (Dungeon crawling mostly.) I dont know, if it would ease the dev team i would definetaly see it as a good compromise but then again, the quests maybe arent so hard to recreate?
Just a thought i had, maybe its a useless thought but i figured i would write it down while its still in my head hehe..

Just took a trip down memory lane myself, visited the most nostalgic places for me like bordinars cleft, leth nurae, tursh. Feels good mon just listening to the music, seeing the places again. Much appreciation to you guys for doing this, can't wait for combat, quests and crafting to be implemented
