Just a quick question about this project- I own an nvidia shield tablet.. would that be able to run the emulator? Thanks for any input, I was a big fan of Eqoa and this game looks somewhat similar... I'd be interested in helping test/playing, but I don't own a pc or laptop sadly :/
I don't think it would, since I think it only runs android if I am not mistaken. It doesn't take a monster PC to run VG even on high specs nowadays, and those devices are cheaper now. My 10 year old "gaming rig" with crappy specs can run it maxed out even when it still had it's original old GPU and i'd venture to say that something equivalently powered would run you a couple hundred bucks. You could look on local stuff like craigslist for cheap older PC's with good specs (for running VG). My PC has a 2.1 ghz tri core, 5 gigs of ram and (had) a radeon hd 4870 (from 2008). It now has an RX 460 because the 4870 didn't like living anymore and blew up after running modded skyrim too long, lol. Now, look at those crappy specs and just imagine that I am able to max VG out at 1080p and still run at about 30 fps.
