Diplomacy deck info request
Hey guys.
I was hoping someone could clarify some information for me.
1) Did we have the capability to save more than 1 diplomacy deck setup? I thought you could, but maybe it wasn't something officially supported. If so, how many diplo hands/strategies could we have?
2) Does anyone remember when additional slots in your hand were granted? I know you start with 5 card slots and go up to 16 card slots, but when were the extra slots granted?
Thanks!

1. Yes. I don't think that was an addon, but I did have infomap with minicards. But I'm pretty sure you could do that outside of minicards. I believe the commands were /deckload <number> or /decksave <number>. I think you could have up to ten.
2. I believe it was every 5 levels, and you get the 16th slot at level 45.

Did a little research to confirm the numbers. You start with five slots, at level 4 you get three more slots, then starting with level 10 up to 45 you get another slot every 5 levels.

Perfect, thanks!
Another follow up question. Any idea if the /deckload and /decksave functionality were graphically visible in the UI? I remember that my custom UI had buttons for them, but when I switch to default on my local emulation server, I don't see it.

I don't think there were any buttons for them on the default UI.
Honestly, so many people used infomap that you might as well have a version of the client that already has that built in if possible.

I don't recall having any decksave or deckload commands. I ran strictly standard VG the last 2 or 3 years it was live. Although my diplo strat was all one deck anyways

Re: Diplomacy deck info request
decksave or deckload commands are used with the original UI.
Infomap addons add a spcific UI to manage these commands with buttons.
As far as i remember.. but maybe the game have evolved and have added an UI for that...

Re: Diplomacy deck info request
FYI, InfoMap diplo decks don't display on the emulator. The UI is there, but there are no decks, and the library doesn't show. I'm not sure what the issue is. Infomap needed regular updates after patches, but I thought that was mainly because of changes to the client. I guess there is something on the server as well.

Default UI did not have buttons or any visible graphics, it was slash commands in macro's "/deskload # /desksave #" that we created ourselves and placed on a hotbar or typed manually each time.
Soresha's InforMapAdvanced with mini Diplo cards was by far one of the best add-ons I have had the pleasure of using in my entire time playing VG!

Only picture I have of my diplomacy cards @ level 50/55 diplomat. Hope it helps. I cannot remember if we got more slots between 50-55, don't think we did.
Drox UI btw.
