I did a little bit of diplomacy when VG was in beta and liked it a lot. But for some reason once the game went gold I abandoned diplomacy and went to adventure. But I still dabbled in the card game. One thing I always thought about and wondered was why VG didn't allow players to dual each other with their cards.

Being able to loot super rare cards and then playing your best buds with the chance of losing those super rare cards would be a lot of fun I think. There could be a bunch of different options you could play with when dueling another so you don't necessarily have to risk your cards if you didn't want to. You could duel just for fun, or for cards, or for money, or whatever. Maybe even big free for alls or team battles could be a thing.

If this is possible or not I also think that diplomacy could expand. Either with new cards, new features, or what-have-you. Maybe post 50 where new custom content comes into play some really neat and new diplomacy features could be birthed.

I do like this idea. I'm not sure the game client could support it, but really we control the packet flow. Player->Npc, or Player->Player, might just be a mechanics thing. Thanks for the post.
