Game crashes at Character Creation

I can get into the game to the character creation screen, and it says waiting on world servers. It just sits a minute then closes. Several times in a row, any ideas?

Check to make sure it say's New Telon in the server list as it shows in this walk through.

It does...It shows 7 active players. I have 3.5.0.0 launcher and 1.324.1.139565. If I click to create a character it will go as far as server select and there are no servers in the list.

Following the guide I get the character naming screen, then I choose Isle or home town, then I get a screen with a server list not the personalizing screen. The list is blank and if I click to continue it kicks me back to the Isle or home town screen and says I need to pick a server.

Sounds like your hitting the login server but not the world server make sure if you have a firewall running you set it to allow. Usually see it happen with windows defender blocking the connection.

Defender is off, firewall is set to allow it. I checked again on both.

Can you zip up your log folder that is located in the Vanguard\bin folder and PM it to me.

Issue was the launcher didn't have right's to create/modify the loginserver.txt file. Running the launcher as administrator or moving the Vanguard folder out of program files fixed it.
