Upcoming Outages and Restarts
In an effort to emulate the SOE experience fully, there will be periodic outages of our web services and frequent server crashes over the next few months as we work to stabilize our services.

Tonight (Aug 1st, 2014) there will be a momentary outage of all my web services due to a corruption in the web server machine I cannot fix while it's running. This requires a host server reboot, which generally takes 10 minutes to complete. If you get an error, just give it a few minutes.
[b:s402ewe9]New Telon Outages:[/b:s402ewe9]
We have never had an opportunity to stress test the core server until now - we were just too busy with dev and collections. Now, with the influx of homeless Telonians, we should get some decent measurements of how good our code really is. A side effect of this will be frequent server crashes and extended periods of debugging why.
[list:s402ewe9][i:s402ewe9][color=#FF0000:s402ewe9]This is a mandatory step in building a multi-user server, so no one should be surprised![/color:s402ewe9][/i:s402ewe9][/list:u:s402ewe9]
While I joke about emulating SOE, in truth we're just learning how things work so this is just the nature of the beast. I ask that all player-testers remain patient and optimistic during the next 6 mos as we crash this server more often than it boots up
I will likely be scheduling nightly reboots al la SOE to be sure you have a nice, clean world to explore every day. At least for now...

Whoops! Well that was the wrong power cord to yank... I meant to only reboot the web server, but apparently just took down the entire MMOEmualtors game network
Coming back online now.
