Bugs: The Community Speaks!

I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who are helping us build a better server by submitting bugs. It's a good problem to have when I spend a day cleaning out the New bugs and assigning them, to come back a week later and see 30 new ones While it can get overwhelming for our small team of developers, note that every bug does get looked at and evaluated.

[list:vapcw9ud][*:vapcw9ud]Bugs that are actually bugs we can fix get assigned to the dev most knowledgeable with the feature.[/*:m:vapcw9ud]
[*:vapcw9ud]Bugs that are for things we have yet to implement, get closed ~sad face~ so check the Current Features list[/url:vapcw9ud] or ProjMan::WorldServer Completed Tasks[/url:vapcw9ud] before you bug something.[/*:m:vapcw9ud]
[*:vapcw9ud]Bugs that require additional information from the community (bug reporter -or- general knowledge of the game) get pushed to the Forum for further discussion.
[/*:m:vapcw9ud]
[*:vapcw9ud]Try and keep in mind to check the Bug Tracker[/url:vapcw9ud] before you submit your new bugs, because it creates a lot of "administrative" work on the dev team to see 10 bugs for "Tan Fen Greatcloud is missing".
[/*:m:vapcw9ud]
[*:vapcw9ud]It is also VERY critical to understand that Content should not be bugged right now, not until the team starts building chunks out fully. You'll know when that happens, because I'll make a huge stink about it. For example, no need to bug that a fish is on land, or that there are 15 Derogar NPCs piled up. We know this, and it is intentional due to the current development and training of the Content Design tasks.[/*:m:vapcw9ud][/list:u:vapcw9ud]

I hope this helps clear up any questions about "What is a bug", and also makes you feel your efforts -are- appreciated regardless. Never stop putting in bugs, if you think something doesn't work. But to save everyone time, including you, consider the status of the feature you are testing. Any time you have a question, just ask.

Thanks again for all your efforts
