Moorgard to Answer Questions
I noticed Moorgard was over at the rerolled.org forums in the Vanguard thread. He was a developer for Vanguard at one point. Anyways, after bugging him to send us the VG database, I asked if he would mind answering a few questions to which he replied he would not. I told him I would message him in a...

Re: Bug 74: (zippyzee) Critical Item Issue
Having any items equipped did this upon log in, even though I logged out elsewhere. ScreenShot_00067.JPG It is fixed by deleting all equipment. Items I was using: 800202 801786 803366 802819 801231 799123 800730 1401175 1434446 1428374 Edit: Seems to be an issue with any "crafted" items? I...

Re: Bug 74: (zippyzee) Critical Item Issue
It seems the issue is actually item #800730 (Flawless Cavalier's Jagged Boots [Qalian Style]). Equipping these teleports you to (approx) -2, -2, -2 in Khal and your character becomes unresponsive. Images are below. Notice my name disappears above my head as well. You must unequip the item and .rift ...

Yeah, I realized how even more freaking huge it was while doing this.
*crosses fingers* Lothenland!
Looks like mostly empty oceans (see image). We may get some more partially completed areas though, as looks like we were missing some.
I'll add them in at a later point since it takes awhile to pull the infor...

Re: Chunks & Missing Chunk Rifts
FYI, the "rule" I followed when deactivating chunks in our database, was any chunk in the in-game map that said "Unknown Zone" when I moused over. Pretty sure those blocks were closed (eg, you bounced off them when you tried to enter).
There ...

Chunks & Missing Chunk Rifts
So I went in and compared all known .rift ids to the chunk files. We are unable to rift to 13 chunks. These are probably development chunks, but would be curious to see what is in them. The chunk files are as follows: chunk_n21_n11.vgr chunk_n21_n12.vgr chunk_n21_n13.vgr chunk_n21_n14.vgr chunk_n21_...

Re: Dev Chat: 01/03/2015 - Dev Meeting / Q&A
Question for john or current devs regarding "flymode" - is this going to be similar to using a flying mount or are we going to have a form of "noclip" so we can run through objects as well?

Re: Points of interest in the world
It looks like we have plenty of areas to add content to once the base emulator is complete. I would assume we probably won't need 6 "shards" of APW either, so we can re-use a few of the "shards" to create new encounters if we wanted as well. So we have PoTA B (multiple instances)...
