Re: So thoughts on a totally private LAN server?
Whats the draw to something like that out of curiosity? Only thing I can think of is to goof off and fuck with stuff in a safe environment without disrupting other people.
That. And also being able to keep a working copy of the game in the event that SOE, oh im sorry...

Re: What is something you can't wait to do in New Telon?
I can't wait to actually be able to play the game with my friends again. Back when the game was still official and there was no end in sight, we took it leisurely. When free to play hit, we took it even slower. I guess you could say that was a mistake. Lots of unfinished business in the world of Tel...

Re: Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen aka Vanguard 2?
Definitely has a high fantasy VG feel to it. It might be worth a look at once it comes out, but I'm honestly a thousand times more looking forward to a finished VG emu, no matter how long it takes. It's kinda sad how I anticipate a shut down game to come back to life more than actual new games comin...

So thoughts on a totally private LAN server?
Forgive me if it's been asked before but I was wondering where or when we will be able to use a repack that contains both the login and world servers offline on LAN only to launch and access the game. It's been done with with the eq2emu, and I understand the progress made on VG thus far isn't too fa...

Re: Private/Custom Server question
I don't want it to seem like my post is pessimistic or negative because I don't mean it to be.. I think having more than one "VGOemu" server for the post-sunset game would be pointless. While the game was amazing before sunset, there weren't even enough players to fill one official SOE ser...

Re: Vanguard on a $200 HP Stream
Vanguard does run surprisingly well on many machines. In my experience with EverQuest II the story is quite different but with VG I have never ever ran into performance issues. I used to play VG on a 2006 iMac with a Radeon x1600 256 MB, 2 GB of ram and a 2.33 GHz core 2 duo at 1680x1050, averaging ...

Client Launcher
Hey guys. I had a topic about this before but I think it's in the wrong section of the forums, so I'm opening up one here in hopes someone will be able to offer assistance. When the Client Launcher first surfaced here I gave it a shot. At the time I wasn't on my PC much, so I figured i'd use it on t...

Re: VG:SoH Soundtrack
I am very impressed. The app you made is amazing.
It's so very simple, but powerful at the same time, and I love the extraction feature.
I knew we would one day be able to read those icb files for the proper sequences.

Re: VG:SoH Soundtrack
I'll have to give your app a shot. The ones on youtube are mixed pretty well from what I've heard.
Does your app capture the data from the game and rebuild them the way they're supposed to be exactly?
