Upcoming Outages
All, VGOEmulator.net web, IRC, Launcher and Game servers will be offline for an extended period of time this week while Xinux and I relocate the entire project to a new hosting service. VGOPlayers.com[/url:354q4je7] is already on the new host, so you can...
Farewell
It is with much regret and genuine heartache that I write this, my final post to the VGO Community. I wasn't going to post anything at all, but it didn't feel right just disappearing without a word. The real world is calling to me and I cannot ignore it any longer, so I am forced to leave the emulat...

Re: Spoke to Quest NPC, got booted.
Good news, you're off the hook. It was, as we say in highly technical terms, a "server burp". My exact steps retraced, there was no boot this time.
20:03:21.937 D Quest Getting dialog icon for quest id: 3222, status: 1 20:03:21.938 I Chunk Number of diplomacy options: 0 20:03:21.939...

Re: Spoke to Quest NPC, got booted.
Those number of diplomacy's are 20s apart. First one was Guard Antonir. Second was the Inquisitor because I had to run up the hill to him. 18:47:46.974 I Chunk Number of diplomacy options: 0 18:48:04.373 I Chunk Number of diplomacy options: 0 No there was no debug errors in C++, the server didn't cr...

Re: Spoke to Quest NPC, got booted.
Naturally, I paste 1/2 the log, and what you need is in the other half, right? So there's the whole log, from my login (Load World Time) to when I hailed Guard Antonir and took his quest (3222) and immediately went up the hill to High Inquisitor Velman, hailed him and was at Char Select.

Spoke to Quest NPC, got booted.
Not sure if this is a built-in safety precaution, but I set up a spawn script with a ton of quests (23) on him, but didn't set up any of the Quest side - I am testing Dialog Generator. I hailed (right-clicked) the NPC with 23 Quest if/then's and my client was thrown to character select. Log:
...

How was it fixed? Others may need to do the same thing (unless it was code)
nm, you PM'd me what you did.
