Re: Flying Mounts
^ i would agree with most of that, but as a casual at best player, I found the ONLY flying mount I could attain was via Diplomacy and the city faction mounts (aka the Pegasus) system, because due to my work/play schedule availability, and VG's low even at peak population made it impossible for me to...

Re: One Year Ago...
I can only say, based on what I have seen from this group, since it started, is that it is the best, most organized, on the ball emulator development team I have seen in a long time, and I have been mucking about in emulators for quite a while. What stands out to me is the organization, and the focu...

Re: Features Forum
Hmm,,, "Learned" abilities Combat reactions everything to do with Diplomacy Combos/Macros (I liked VGs take on macros, like how DKs could use Shadowstep to get behind an enemy then use their lifetap that only works from behind), There were all sorts of useful combos one could make out of s...

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen aka Vanguard 2?
Seems Aradune is back at it with what appears to be a Vanguard do-over. At any rate a new generation of "Vanbois" seems to be in the making with McQuaid's latest shot at making the "Vision(tm)" a reality https://www.pantheonrotf.com/ For anyone who was around when Sigil first sta...

Re: DaybreakGames official agreement with Project 1999
I dunno, perhaps the only thing that may be stopping VGO from making such an arrangement is not actually reaching out to Daybreak to ask? VG is IP owned by Daybreak, so its not like there are 3rd parties to deal with like with a licensed IP (like in the case of games like SWG, Matrix Online, et, War...

Re: Private/Custom Server question
I think it would be wise to have the option for more than one server. I think the debate on whether or not to have 51+ content could be solved by just having one server have the lvl 50 cap and the other mirror the end of live server with a few tweaks.
I concur, and ...

Re: Vanguard:Saga of Heroes Client
You could do the same thing that SWGEmu does, and simply "officially" require that a player owns a physical copy of the game (or has proof of purchase for a legit digital copy), thus proving you are a good citizen of the internet bu discouraging piracy (but you do not actually have to chec...

Oh hai! Kinshi Desu here of SWGCanon.com (Star Wars Galaxies preCU server) and QA guy CUGalaxies AND SWGANH and former big-time Vanboi who has been playing since the first Beta when VG was still a Microsoft gig. (and I have been watching EQ2 Emu for a while as well) Anyway, was thrilled to see a VG ...
