Re: Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen
He won't be seeing a penny of my money until there's an actual product I can hold in my hands. Way too much drama so far.

Re: Class Epic Weapons
The socketed weapon/epics in Vanguard actually change the appearance of your weapon as well, if I recall correctly. It's actually a good system, because it means you can take the appearance and benefits of your epic with you as you upgrade weapons. My only gripe has been with the process itself. The...

Re: Our current installations
I had completely removed the whole VG installation during sunset (too sad at the time) but when I got a new copy of the client I just plopped it where ever and pointed the VGOE launcher to the bin folder and everything worked fine. Doesn't seem like it needs much in the way of registry hooks.
Purple - 3 levels+(i think) if you can kill this you got lucky or hacked.. No idea on xp amount[/pre]
Or you're playing a healer. Anywho, your first post is more accurate. 5+ levels was generally purple and yes, the mob was a significant challenge (and shouldn't be p...
7: Hilsbury Manor was one of the coolest looking places in the game with a very disappointing questline. I would have loved to stay in there for 10 levels. Even worse, completing the initial boss kill and getting a "To be continued we promise" notice when th...

Barring that, there are possibilities of distribution but those of course (for legal reasons) would need to be kept very far away from the emulator project.
Gnomes were hated in about half the cities. The only races that were hated in more places were the dark/evil races (dark elf, gnome, orc). The hate for the dark races is understandable, but gnomes? I know gnome punting is fun, but why all the hate? I Just pondering, don...

Re: Cleric DPS
I honestly agree. Cleric was one of the only classes I couldn't bring myself to level. It was just... Too slow, too painful. Sure, you never worried about dying but I think you bored your enemy to death as opposed to actually beating them down. Easiest way to mitigate this would be to improve the ag...

Re: Borestones / Flying Mounts / Ships
PoTA itself isn't bad, but the grind was. Honestly that was the issue with 51-55. It was all designed as timesink content and that's definitely not cool, and something I'd like to see avoided if possible. I agree with Kilsin though in that as far as project scope, we should focus on the core of Vang...
