Re: Quest Hubs? Game areas, defined
I think Apaelias hit the nail on the head with the level cap. If we went up in levels as things came out, then it was okay that older stuff was 'trivial' but also unnecessary for us to take down. What I didn't like about the augs is that with the way buff and stat caps were, everyone was scrambling ...

COW: Cave of Wonders (This is what killed the game we think, I mean, that SOE put money into making this zone and it failed utterly and broke stuff)
I disagree. I was thinking about around a month ago. I really think that once that 51+ c...

Re: Quest Hubs? Game areas, defined
I used to love exploring some of the caves that were cut off from the world by barricades. There were ... ... tricks ... to getting into those caves. But sometimes it's just as nice to wander around these old barren caves as well! It's like a whole world of potential.

Re: Quest Hubs? Game areas, defined
The original "launch" version of the game was pretty linear. I remember that we had to actually rebind ourselves to each new quest hub we got to, so recall didn't put us back at our starter city if we needed to use it (which would take an hour to get back because of the really slow travel)...

Re: Quest Hubs? Game areas, defined
I might have been thinking of the CW weapon. I think that started orange and could become red with an extra quest or stuff.

Re: Quest Hubs? Game areas, defined
Sweet, that's my favorite questline in the whole game. I really loved it, but it was so difficult for people that weren't raid geared. That's why we did Get Your Griffons to help people out.

Re: Quest Hubs? Game areas, defined
The griffon questline, this is as much as I remember (Yes I have kind of a crappy memory). But I used to run "Get Your Griffons" on the server for anyone that wants a griffon, we could get them through it. I swear I think I wrote this up before on the old forums, but I don't feel like look...

Re: Quest Hubs? Game areas, defined
Quest Hubs: Usually these are outposts scattered around with one or two questgivers. Off the top of my head some good quest hub locations were the outpost in Beranid Hills, Trengal's Outpost, And that one just to the west of RI and another next to Tricksters. Sorry I can't really remember the names ...

Re: Armor Appearance
If I can figure out how to get a hold of the texture files, I could do up my own armor. Unfortunately I'm neither a programmer or very tech proficient. It would also be nice if every class could use whatever armor they wanted in their appearance slot. Tanks could wear all three (heavy, medium, and m...
