So i logged in the other than with to check out my new gfx card in vg, kicked all the settings up in the ini file, and this is the view that welcomed me!
I recently did the same Ali and I must say, I miss VG a lot, the atmosphere, the people, the experience, the gameplay, the graphics etc, I really wish someone could make a vanilla VG 2.0 on a more modern engine, fix all the bugs and remove the chunks lines, add in new lands, mobs, area's, dungeons and continents and market it to the niche crowd that support EQ/VG and support it for years to come. If they kept cash shops and f2p out of the works, they could have a solid game that would make a tidy profit from it, I have an awesome vision for a VG 2.0 and if I had the cash or knowledge, I would do it myself but sadly, I don't have either! I really miss VG, everything out there today is very poor by comparison
I could not agree more, Kilsin. The gaming horizon is looking bleak when options are laid side by side with Vanguard. It is truly sad that SOE does not realize this.
