    Hello all,

Vanguard has such a wonderful world to offer, and I want to explore it. I also want to do it in a unique way. My thought is to pick a race, and all level together very slowly as we explore the lands of Vanguard. I was thinking choosing a small race for the fun of it, (Rakki, Gnome, Halfling, Goblin, or maybe Dwarf) and starting in that races home town.

We would have xp off a fair amount as we explore one quest at a time the lands. I will be hosting this event every Saturday unless posted otherwise, and if nobody shows up I will pick the race.

My hopes are that we would over time grow together, get to know each other and have fun, and being that we won't be racing to 55, missing a Saturday here or there won't really be an issue.

I will be starting tomorrow (Saturday, Jan 11th) The start time will be officially 9pm PST every Saturday, unless posted otherwise. Our first meeting will be in Khal by the rift stone ... you can also do a search for "Morty" and you will find me.

I look forward to meeting anyone who wants to give this a go, and if I am alone for a few Saturdays, I won't be put off, and I will continue to try to make this happen.

    See you Saturday.

Would try to join ya from time to time but you are 2 hours behind me and I have to work on Sundays so its a bit late for me. I hope it goes well for you.

Wish that I could join you in these groups, Morty, but 9pm means 12 midnight for me. If you happen to do the groups earlier, and after our event, I would be interested in joining.

Good luck with it and if I can help in any way, please let me know.

No worries. I actually don't expect anyone to show up for the first one. I will just keep on announcing each week and see what happens.

I know it is a horrible time to do this and I understand this might be a pipe dream for me. I might get a couple of my kids to play with me so I always have a group of three. LOL (it's nice to have a 17, 16 and 14 year old in the house)

I am recently back in game, I have a 24 psi I would love to join with you or anyone on server who would like to group up. Mostly play evenings. If you have more events planned I will try to make them.

    Thanks for asking.

It was really fun. Only one person showed, so I let him pick the race. He (Jite) decided we would go for Halfling. He had a cleric, and I rolled a Paladin. We only got I think 4 quests done, but we enjoyed them, and didn't rush. I hadn't ever been to the halfling starting town so that was fun too. ( I will be doing a write up each week at mmorty.com by each Wednesday, and when I do I will post here on this thread)

I hope next week we get at least one more person. We made it to level 5. I don't think we can turn off experience until level 10, so we leveled out of the Halfling town fairly quickly. :(

As we continue playing, we will be turning xp off sometimes just to fully explore spots. (if the group so desires).

Anyway long message just to say, I had fun and I think Jite did too.

I think we can just meet in the starting area by Tursh since that is about where our last quest was. Khal was just an easy spot to meet for the first time, especially since we weren't 100% sure what race we were going to play.

Now we have a race and have already started, so I think the starting area in Tursh will work great, especially for any new people coming aboard with freshly made Halflings since if they don't choose IOD they will start right in the Tursh area.

As we level we will have different start spots, and I will make sure to post on this thread. On another note, it was great running around with you Laundin!

So I finished the weekly blog update on our Halfling Adventures. You can find a run down of our first night here ... "Saturday Night Halfling Explore Group" (on mmorty.com)

I had lots of fun, and can't wait to do it again this coming Saturday.
