Test/lag/crash/bugs

  1. I know this is probably an old idea but I have to say it anyway.
So test server is for testing and everytime something gets pushed live we find lots of things on live that were not found on test.
I dont believe the test server is a mirror image of the live server or things would be found before they go live. Would'nt it be a good idea to reverse copy live to test then move forward from there?
I seen a post from a dev giving light to alot of the problems in one instance saying they found the area with the code for certain changes. This just lets us know the devs are human and either new to VG or been doing so much coding on other projects they are working on getting back in touch with VG. (Great info imo)
With that said I really think that all of the SoE people should adress the feed back given GOOD or BAD and not just pick and choose what suits the moment. I know there are alot of QQ posts about, but with in those posts are some seriously good post about true info that needs addressed but never is.
This is the way the game will get better for all. There was a hugh serge in the player base with the F2P and that is dropping off fast due to issues within the game and lack of info on how they are being addressed.
Its ok to patch to live more than once a week. I see other games do it daily at launch and 3-5 times aweek if needed. Why would this game be any different then any other MMO?
    Just my thoughs.
  2. One of my biggest irritations is when there is a patch, something gets broke, they have a fix but the server needs brought down to fix it. Instead of waiting for the next patch, bring it back down, even if its the next day to fix it. Don't let it go for a week until applying the fix.
